The members of the tennis club in the Berlin district of Steglitz, the „Steglitzer Tennis Klub“ (STK), at the tradition-rich location of the Wiesenbaude celebrated the creation of a second hockey team for ladies, the „SchiTeKas“.

The STK is is a Berlin sports club which is active in hockey, tennis and curling. It was founded in 1913 by dancers who looked for a sportive counterbalance to their activity and they started with tennis; hockey followed a few years later, and soon became a main attraction and reason to join the club for many members.

The club can also look back on numerous competitive achievements in its history: They won many Berlin junior championships and celebrated successes at national level. They were also training center for national junior hockey teams.
