Berlin, 21st Dec, 2010 – Before the top game of the Berlin Icebears against the Krefeld Penguins, the fans were given a little foretaste of New Year’s Eve. At the penultimate home game of the Berlin team for 2010, Hornbach DIY-stores and Berlin’s largest importer of fireworks, Pyro-Partner, presented pyrotechnical novelties and highlights for the coming change of the year. The items introduced at the show that evening could be directly ordered and picked up after the 29th Dec from any of the Hornbach branches. At the presentation, “Out of Limits”, was also introduced as the top novelty. This fiery battery of fireworks is equipped with a whopping 500 gr. net mass of explosives.

As the highlight of the evening, fans were given a rollicking musical fireworks display. Naturally, the explosives were set off in tune to the team’s hymn song: „Hey, wir wollen die Eisbären sehn“ by the band Phudys.

Once again, Potsdamer Feuerwerk was hired for the performance of the pyro-show. After musical icebear- rhythms, our team painted an ode to the Icebears in their team colors onto the night-sky, warming the hearts of all the ice hockey fans present.
