Berlin, 25 June 2011 – Once again, thousands of visitors flocked to the park Britzer Garten for the longest day of the year. In Scandinavian countries, it is traditional to spend this day with many festivities and Britzer Garten has for some years now followed this tradition too. In one of Berlin’s most picturesque landscape gardens, numerous artistic and cultural events were on display, eclipsed only by the high-altitude firework provided by Potsdamer Feuerwerk at the end of the celebration. Our team, once again, demonstrated its ability and routine when it turned the park lake and its environs into a panorama of fire and light, with explosives being lit from a float on the water. Nearly 100kg of fireworks and 3,500 kg of sound equipment (provided by artecom) producing several thousand watts of sound blew, figuratively speaking, the audience away. Our first participation in this event was in 2008, and we have been perfecting our efforts ever since.
