Five locations, half a year and flowers as far as the eyes can see – that’s the event in a nutshell. The opening show was called „Awakening“ („BUGA-Erwachen“) and presented a colourful bouquet of entertainment for the 8,000 spectators.

Together with the agency Compactteam, we created an amazing melange of tradition, locality and entertainment. Our mission was to thrill the audience with an impressive fireworks display and special effects to round off the event evening.

The reviews and feedback we received were resounding and emotional: „The town has probably never seen a show like this. There has never been such a spectacular opening show in the event history of the BUGA!“, so the local newspaper Märkische Allgemeine, adding that the Compactteam’s staging was nothing short of perfect and goosebumps-raising. The team’s response towards us was an especially wonderful compliment: „We would like to pass on this praise, as the Compactteam is only representing a fraction of all those who made this show a success. We thank you for a job fantastically done, and for the work and commitment you invested into this show.“
